C7000v2 and using ac1750 as router extender
Hey all! I recently purchased a house and with the house comes more distance between technology points. I thought I would be smart and add another router to my network to act as a WIFI extender/...

"AC1750" is a speed, not a model number. Look for "Model" on the
product label.
What you want is not a second _router_ (at least, not configured as a
router). If you can run an Ethernet cable (or equivalent) between your
main (modem+)router (C7000v2) and your accessory "AC1750" router, then
you should be able to configure that accessory device as a wireless
access point, which should extend your wireless-network coverage without
causing new problems.
If you can't use such a cable connection, then things get more
difficult.

Thanks for the helpful links.

Not if what you're adding is a WAP, and not a full-function router.

That depends on what "the bridge mode" means to you.
Rather than throw around terms like "extender/booster" or "bridge
mode", it might help if you described, in plain, unambiguous terms, what
your devices are, and how you expect to connect them in order to improve
your wireless-network coverage.
For information about how to configure your "AC1750" as a WAP, visit
http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read. Look for a topic like
"Use the Router as a Wireless Access Point".
