C7000V2 Connectivity Issues
Hi, I have a c7000v2 router / modem that goes offline everyday and I have to unplug and plug the router back in. When this happens all devices loose internet connection and the lights on the router...
No, I have not touched it. Seems to be rebooting itself now
Well you're caught in a catch22. it could be the line. it could be the modem.
If its the line, the isp would nee to check it.
if its the modem, you'd need to replace it.
cheapest ways to check?
1. connect back an old modem and use it and see if it works.
2. rent a modem from the isp to see if everything thing works. If it doesn't, then they can't blame the euipment and would need to fix the line. I've rented one for a month before to prove it was a modem issue.
