C7000v2 I have a question about using wi fi only
Hello, I just had an Altice Cable box installed that came with its own Modem/Wi-Fi on board so the tech told me I had to disable my Netgear unit which I did, unfortuneately the Altice units wi fi is...
I did exactly these steps and noticed a significant drop in download speed with the unit operating in this mode. So bad that I am having them come back to take the Altice unit out and replace it with the standard cable box. Then I will use my C7000 as intended and hopefully get a better Wi-Fi speed

With my weak psychic powers, I don't know which speed you're
comparing with which other speed, or how you measured either of them.
Similarly, what the speed might be with a wire-connected device, what
your wireless device might be, which radio band(s) you might be using,
or much of anything else in the category of useful information.
