When both are connected on the same freqquency, will they connect then?
which access controls? on the modem? I only have the default rules there. Did you mean other access controls?
Yes if you enabled any access controls on the modem.
Might try a factory reset on the modem and setup from scratch.
Test to see if both devices connected to 2.4Ghz can connect to each other first.
ah, yes this is right out of the box, it is a setup from scratch and from factory.
I did do some testing with another device (phone) and found discovery seems to work across both wifi's. so the issue may be with the wifi controller on my laptop.
will do more testing today.
