Wait, how does a coax cable line splitter cause issues? Also, it is funny that as soon as I switch back to the Xfinity router, my wifi works just fine. It is like Xfinity is bottlenecking the custom routers so that you are almost forced to use theirs and pay that 13 dollar fee per month. Cause I tested other routers as well. All the same issue.

Splitters can reduce the line single to a modem or induce noise on the line.
What do you mean by the xfinity router? There modem?

FURRYe38 Yeah, I am using the xb6 Xfinty modem since non my the modems and routers that I bought worked. Is there a big difference between the xb6 and c7000v2 settings that would cause me to loose packets with the c7000v2?

This XB6 modem have a built in router here?
NO sure what the differences could be. I don't know anything about the XB6 modem. I presume if the XB6 is working and the C7000 isn't, the unit could be faulty. You would need to try another one to check or maybe a different modem. Maybe a CM series modem.
