I am working from home, my personal laptop is broken at the moment and I am trying to use my work laptop. Due to due to administrative settings I cannot download a different browser to this laptop. I had looked into firefox but it is no longer allowed on these work machines for whatever reason. Thanks for the suggestion, I may need to get my personal laptop serviced to do this.

You can try a tablet/phone browser

Great idea, I had not thought of using my phone. If I log into the modem and turn off the password reset, will I be able to access it normally after that?

Thank you, that worked, I was able to login on my phone. I am going to see if there is a firmware update that might fix this as well. Looking around on it now to see where I can disable the password reset screen as well. I am the only one in the house that would be accessing it and I keep my passwords so that I would not need to reset it. Thanks again, I appreciate your suggestion.

glad it worked!
The modem/router combo device firmware can't be upgraded by the end user. It gets pushed by the ISP. And sadly, they rarely do.

So I was able to turn off the password reset from my phone, but now I get this error message when trying to access the router, both from 192.168.0.1 and from routerlogin.net and is in both Edge and Chrome. "HTTP 401 - Unauthorized
Authorization is required to access the configuration server.
You must enter the correct username and/or password."
Why is this so hard just to login to the router so I can reserve IP addresses and tweak some settings. This is getting really old, really fast!
