C7000V2 not working in 1000mbps Comcast connection
I recently upgraded my Comcast from 75mbps to 1000mbps. after this change, my modem still connecting with max of 80mbps speed. there is no luck after hard reset, reconfiguration and online docs. ...
FURRYe38 Thanks for your message. after some research 1000mbps will work with Docsis3.1 modem rather than docsis3.0.
C7000v2 is docsis3.0 my bad. I have to spend for modem + WIFI router to get good result.
Ya, for 1Gb speeds, most ISPs required D3.1 modems.
