C7000v2 stops responding or functioning
The device worked great for 6 months and now works for a short time before the Wi-Fi drops and the internet drops. No admin console on 192.168.0.1. Sometimes a power down works to recover. Other times a full reset is required. Once the reset process didn’t seem to work until the third try. The event log refers to upgrade file download error of zero file size. Is this an xfinity issue? The up and down power levels are in range at between +4 dbmv for down.

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute them back ON.Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed?
- DSP3AspirantThanks for all of the ideas. Yes the xfinity tech came out and confirmed up and down power and I watched on the admin console as well. Turns out there are a bunch of time synch and other comm errors that preceded each modem crash. We are trying a replacement modem next
