C7000v2 V1.03.02 but Netgear says V1.03.08 is most up to date driver
the driver installed on my Netgear C7000v2 is V1.03.01 but your website says the most recent is V1.03.08. How can I get the most recent installed no option on the C7000v2.?

That's one of the key reasons we don't recommend combo devices on here.
Newer modem/router combos come with a router section with firmware that you can update.
But I still wouldn't recommend them. If nothing else, they don't offer the variety of features that you can choose with standalone routers.

I am looking to install a mesh system so I will be replacing modem/router soon, any suggestions? We have the worst ISP used to be called Suddenlink

Suggestions?
We'd need a little more data.
What size is your home?
How many devices are you supporting and what are you using them for?
What speeds do you pay for?
What's your budget (key as its pointless to recommend the RBKE963 if it isn't in budget )
My only suggestion is that I'm a fan of the triband band mesh systems. They have a dedicated backhaul so they have higher speeds and lower latencies than the dual band systems. They're faster and a bit more stable (IMO).

We have a bunch of devices, Alexa’s, laptops, iPads, cell phones. There are two of us living in the house.

I'd look at the 7/8/9 series of orbi's with 1-2 satellites.
You've got a solid-sized home and want to cover the outdoors so its better to over engineer a bit than under.
And the VR takes a bit more stable and faster throughput. So I'd look a little higher end. The C7000 is quite old and probably struggling a bit.
With that said, it could always be the ISP line causing the some of the drops.
the cable connections page and the event logs could help check that.

You'd have to check with the ISP or your bill to see what your upload is supposed to be at. I know my 1 gig service only offers 30 Mbps upload but I hit 40.

Wireless Routers for Home | NETGEAR
Then check back here for reports on the things you are considering, but remember that people turn up in this community with problems, not compliments. So look at reviews on Amazon, for example.

I plugged in my needs in the filter and it came up with "Not currently available to purchase on NETGEAR.com"
