    Optimally? hardwire in your device.

All my 4k tv's are hardwired into prevent buffering/issues.

I do hardwire my Xbox one in that's what I'm streaming with and any time I come accross 4k content it gets garbled n choppy , I pay for top notch data thru Spectrum and have the ISP router they gave me it's an ARRIS gateway , so I thought maybe if I upgraded n bought my own cable modem it would solve the issue, it didn't so I was just wondering if maybe there was a recipe in the settings maybe I could tweak my nighthawk and or bridge it to my ARRIS?
      Thx for your help

so the arris had issues and the C7000 has issues but you still think its the modem or the router? When the streamer was hardwired in?

I'd be looking at either the signal coming to your modem or the device itself.

What speeds do you pay for?

What speeds to you actually get?

If you log into your modem connections page, take a screensnip of the modem connections so we can get a snap shot of your signal from your isp.
