Hi all, I’m hoping someone can help me solve an issue with an Ethernet connection problem to my PlayStation. I replaced the cable completely, thinking it was the problem, due to the fact when plugged in the light was not on at all. I have a philips hue bridge connected on the first of 4 open ports and it has a flashing orange light. This also works at any of the other ports as well.

However, when I plug in the 14’ Ethernet cable to the PlayStation there is no light. Maybe the PlayStation Ethernet port is damaged??

Maybe the ports bad on the playstation.

maybe the ports dirty on the playstation.

maybe you need to re-run internet setup/enable the port on the playstation. (don't have a playstation to try it with)

But if the ports working fine for all other devices and you've replaced the cable, you've kind of narrowed the issue to the playstation.
