c7100

I am using Xfinity services w/voice. The C7100 can handle the 300 speed but with 2.4 GHz or 5 Ghz my printer only recognizes 2.4 and I have to switch networks on devices to print. Brother printer will only connect to the 2.4 band. Will this newer C7100V toggle or recognize the 2.4 GHz? I also don't have voice option on older Netgear Dual band so I would like to have that option. Thanks
