C7100v slow wifi across all devices

Hey,

I have been having slower wifi speeds than expected. Service coming in is 800mbps i had comcast come and inspect wiring they lowered the dbmv to about -1,-2. They tested with their meter at my modem and saw speeds upto 810mbps via ethernet. 

So testing on my ps5 i get between 450-550mbps, i get the sony may throttle it down. I dont have any other device to test myself hardwired but i think i am ok with their test.

 

On the wifi end, i test with my 2015 macbook pro wifi card = 

AirPort Extreme  (0x14E4, 0x134)

should accept upto 1300mbps 

2017 macbook pro

AirPort Extreme  (0x14E4, 0x170)

iphone 12 pro max 

All 3 devices max out around 250-290ish mbps on the 5ghz band

 

I have verified that the 3.4 and 5.0 bands are on their own channels where there are no other networks.

Any suggestions on how to improve wifi speeds?

    Wifi isn't going to hit gigabit speeds. 

    There's a lot of disinformation about wifi as well as quite a bit of overrating on wifi "speeds".
