C7800 doesn’t boot properly

I just purchased a C7800 off eBay and it doesn’t seem to boot properly. All lights except the WiFi are illuminated solid, no lights on front Buttons. Reset makes no difference on lights. Can not get it do to anything. Guessing it’s dead? Any thoughts? I thought lights should flash after turning on?!

Can you access it when hardwired into it?

did you try pushing the wifi on/off button and holding for 2 seconds? Or log into it and turn the wifi on? If the buttons have shut the wifi off, you need to turn it back on by pushing and holding.

In terms of the lights. most of them should be solid color if everything works right. The exceptions are: ethernet blink if traffic is sending/recieving, wifi lights if sending/recieving (nothing usually means they're shut off),

The manual has the lights and what they mean.

Yeah, I let it sit and “boot” while connected to the cable. No connection with Ethernet to the modem and trying to login.

Did you have the ISP associate it with there system?

If you can't access the modems web page at 192.168.0.1, even after a factory reset, you'll need to send it back to the seller on ebay.

Nope. Couldn’t. I’ll try the WiFi thing to see if that turns it on.
