C7800 Firmware Version V3.01.43 Out of Date Nighthawk App

I saw there is a closed dicussion about this. I had the same problem for a while. I have a Nighthawk c7800 and I could not update the firmware that is ISP provided untill I realized the time zone in my router settings was still on the default which is Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). I set it to pacific time for my location and the router automatically re-booted and updated to firmware version V6.01.07. After that my Nighthawk app started working for the first time ever. I hope this helps alot of people.
