Why? What happens that forces you to reset the modem/router?
I tried resetting my router, flashing the firmware, playing with QoS, adding a bunch of static IPs, changing WiFi channels, etc. but nothing worked. The only temporary workaround is to reboot my router.
The comment about firmware is puzzling. The C7800 is a modem/router. Only your ISP can flash it.
Your subject says "reset" which is not the same thing as reboot. Which is it?
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Cable Modems & Routers
You might like to search there for messages related to your problem.
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

Thanks for your response.. Look at the below answers.
>> Why? What happens that forces you to reset the modem/router?
Wifi just stops working. No internet until I restart my router.
>> The comment about firmware is puzzling. The C7800 is a modem/router. Only your ISP can flash it.
You are correct. I confirmed that I have the latest firmware from my service provider.
>> Your subject says "reset" which is not the same thing as reboot. Which is it?
I unplug the power from the router for 2-3 minutes then plug it back in and the wifi starts working.

got a screensnip of the cable connections page?
You're getting power window violations indicating your power is going out of range.
But without knowing if you're high or low, its tough to tell you where to start.

2.4 and 5 GHz?
Do the LEDs on the router look right?

OK. Reboot. Reset usually means something completely different. You may like to try it.
