c7800 Nighthawk, wont connect to 2.4 radio

I purchased a doorbell camera and it only uses the 2.4 connection.  My problem is that i cannot connect to the 2.4, I have tried connecting from my phone and my laptop but it will not connect on the laptop and the phone says authentication error.

    What security mode are you using on the 2.4Ghz radio? 

     

    Try temporarily disabling WPA on the 2.4Ghz. Connect your devices. Do they connect at all? 

    Then set WPA and TPIK, then set WPA2 and AES only. Do they connect at all?
