C7800 no ethernet, support claims router is three years old

Bought a new C7800 from amazon yesterday, got it today, no ethernet connections work. NAT is enabled.   Tried contacting Netgear, they claim the router is 3+ years old and I have to purchase exten...

    1. It wouldn't be the first product I've seen returned to amazon and resold. 

    2. Or it could have been from a 3rd party seller on amazon. 

    3. You can contact support to dispute the purchase date or what might be faster, is to exchange it through amazon. Amazon has a fairly easy return policy and it might be faster than trying to RMA the device. 

    4. did you try a simple factory reset? If it was a return/resale, it might have been setup. Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on.
