C7800 WiFi not showing up
I have done all the things, called netgear and ISP. My WiFi cut out randomly, fur solid white lights, no WiFi at all. WiFi button does nothing. Hardwiring in gives me internet access but when...

You might contact the ISP and see if they can downgrade the FW on the modem if it had been recently updated to see if this changes anything. The ISP will need to do this.
This might be worth a shot. It says I'm running FW v6.xxxxx but netgear FW support is saying I should be on v3.xxxxx

Ok, press the ISP on this to get the modem back to v3 or the recommended verions NG mentioned.
I'll see if I can reach out to NG on this and have them review this. Seems like if the wifi had been working and a recent FW update may have broke it. the ISP needs to revert back. They should have done testing before pushing. But they only know what they did.
No promises.

Thanks for the help! In the meantime. Is there a way for us to push our own FW onto the dang thing?

I wish there was. ISPs can only do that. I don't like that policy either. Something like this happens and users can't revert back. ISPs are in control of this and some won't even push FW to user owned modems. The ones that do are supposed to test new FW coming of NG before pusing out to users modems. ISP were burned years ago when pushing FW to users modems. So they stopped doing it mostly or if they in house test and all is good, then they will push. I think someone missed this one though. :smileyfrustrated:

Okay, I'm going to contact ISP (Cox btw) and see if they can get me the right FW. I literally started having this issue while in a chat with a Cox representative...might be that they pushed the FW...I'll update again in a bit.
