C7800 Wifi speed is slow

I just bought C7800 several days ago, because I need DOCSIS 3.1 model to support gig speed of Comcast.    Then I notice the speed of 5G wifi only have 400Mbits and it should be near 900Mbits to 100...

What are your current wifi settings for 2.4 and 5Ghz? 

 

HT160Mhz is not supported on the C7800.

    What are your current wifi settings for 2.4 and 5Ghz? 

    I.e. Auto speeds, Auto channels, WPA modes? Things like that...

      2.4 GHz: 

      Channel: auto

      Mode: Up to 1000Mbps

       

      5 GHz:

      Channel: 153

      Mode: Up to 2165Mbps

        What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and  channel 44 on 5Ghz.

         

        Try setting the Mode from max to one mode lower then max for each radio and test. You can disable the 2.4Ghz radio as well while testing on 5ghz. 


        Test with different wifi devices for comparison.
