Cable Model CM1000v2

Hello, I have had the CM1000v2 cable modem for over 1.5 years now.  I have been trying to login to the modem in order to block some websites for my child.  Whenever I enter www.routerlogin.net, I put in the admin and password but nothing happens.  Not sure I am doing it the right way or not. My set up is as follows:

Comcast cable coming into the house, plugged into the CM1000v2, ethernet cable from the port to my Eero mesh gateway router, and another ethernet cable from the 2nd port of the Eero router to my unmanaged Netgear ProSafe 24 port gigabit switch.

I have plugged the ethernet cable from the Eero directly to my laptop but it still doesn't work.

Any help would be appreciated.

The CM1000v2 is strictly a modem.  To log in to the modem user interface, there should be an IP address printed on the label on the bottom.  Most likely, http://192.168.100.1/.

The task of blocking web sites belongs to your router, not the modem.  You need to figure out how to log in to the user interface for your Eero mesh gateway router to configure it accordingly.  Check with the router OEM for instructions on accessing the user interface.
