Cable Modem

Is this modem capable of 100/100 mps internet from Verizon to replace their modem to eliminate the monthly rental fees ?

Not sure if your verizon dsl, fios, etc. Your best bet would be to contact verizon and ask them what is compatible with your service.

Tried that -  “we only have information on Verizon Fios products”  was told to contact NETGEAR

    So what type of verizon service do you have? Fios, dsl, etc.

        Cable modems or C series modems are for only Cable modem ISPs. FIOS requires other ONT for Fiber connection devices where cable modems will not work for this kind of service. Contact your ISP to see what they officially support.
