Cable Modem
Need help I was thinking about buying a cable modem to replace my AT&T modem but haven't seen if any of the Netgear modems that say they are compatible with At&t.

Why? Is there some actual problem which you are trying to solve?
What is your "my AT&T modem"? Maker? Model? Is it a DSL
modem(+router?), or a cable-TV-type modem(+router?), or what?Possession of some basic information about what you have might make
it easier to choose a suitable replacement for it.- DWalk74AspirantI have an AT&T Uverse Arris Bgw210 700 Gateway

As a quick Web search would reveal, that's a DSL modem+router;
different technology from cable-TV. If you're keeping the same Internet
service, then a "Cable Modem" would be useless to you.> [...] Is there some actual problem which you are trying to solve?
Still wondering.

what is the model # of the modem you currently have?
It's best to check with ISPs first to see that they support. Some ISP don't allow for user owed modems.
