Question

I’ve tried everything and can’t seem to update firmware I’ve seen on support page that ips has to update it? I called spectrum and they said they can’t do anything from there end?

Thank you for taking the time to help with this questio.Definitely saved me lots of time! Would like netgear to tell me up front instead of waiting 2 hours for a technician.

there isn't a firmware update for it.&nbsp;
For modems and combo devices (modem/router) the firmware is part of the provisioning from the ISP.&nbsp;
If the ISP doesn't update it in their system, it doesn't get updated.&nbsp;
And sadly, ISP's rarely update firmware because it costs them $ to certify it when netgear sends it to them.&nbsp;
