How is Cadant Inc. affilated witn Netgear? why is Cadant showing up on my LAN?

With questions about cadant. Which was a cable modem termination systems that was purchased by arris in 2001.
Arris who makes modem/routers/etc.
What actual netgear device do you have?
what else is on your network? Maybe its your modem/combo device?
Hi have at that location a: Netgear Cable Modem CM700, Lutron Caseta, Eero mesh network.
Cadant isn't affiliated with netgear but one of your device might have a nic or other networking hardwire from them/arris.
- shouldn't say that 100%. I don't believe they are since they're owned by arris.
