Can’t register my used modem from tag sale

I bought this cable modem from from a tag sale, and I try to register it and can’t register because it’s registered to the previous owner, and she no longer has the information

No idea what a tag sale is.&nbsp;
But if its a modem only device, you don't need to register it to use it.&nbsp;
You should be able to have your ISP activate it using the mac address.&nbsp;
and you can access it using the browser.&nbsp;
What modem did you buy?&nbsp;
