Can i use Modem-Router AC1900 C7000 ONLY as WIFI router

I am having high speed internet 200MB , when on cable but using WIFI is very sloe doesn't exceed 40MB if close to the router .

How can i use Cable Modem Router AC1900 C7000 only as router

    You might be able to disable the DHCP server on the modem. Change the iP addresss of the modems router from 192.168.0.1 to what your host router is using and give a new IP addresss, like 192.168.0.70. Apply the change and then connect the modem to the host router using one of the LAN ports in back. LAN#1 to the host routers LAN ports...
