Can the AC 1750 be used as just a router?

"AC1750" is a speed, not a model number. Ever helpful, Netgear
product packaging emphasizes speeds like "ACxxxx", but that's not the
model identifier. Look at the product label for the actual model
number.

Only if you could find an accessible WAN/Internet Ethernet port on
the thing. So, no.

There would be some chance of using a C6300 as a wireless access
point (attached to some other router), however. See, for example:

Thank you for the info and guidance on speed versus model. (and yes, it is the c6300)
And yea, I was wondering that too, since it does not have any sort of "input" for ethernet, just co-ax. :(
