Cannot connect to internet

I called xfinity and got it activated already. I hard wired my ps4 into the new modem router I just bought for right in my room. Comes up on my WiFi settings and I log in ok. But cannot connect to internet it keeps saying.

    Do other devices connect to the modem and get internet?

    I would contact Sony for PS console connection and networking information.
