Can't change DNS servers on Netgear C6300

Exactly what the title says, I can't change the DNS servers on my C6300, I just get an invalid ip error no matter which DNS servers I use, and I have tried restarting and reseting.

This could be something the ISP does not want changed you could try to unplug the coax cable on the modem and then trying to change it then plugging the coax back into the modem.

  • I don't agree with the ISP not allowing the change. I had my C6300 set up and configured on the Google DNS servers (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) about 6 months ago no problem. I recentnly heard a lot of good things about Cloudflare (1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1) and tried to change it, and was getting the same inavalid IP address error. I did a full factory reset, and still can't change it.
