Hi, thanks for your response.  I was using a leased modem, so I purchased this one and I'm using the ssid and password associated with this one.  I don't remember my old ssid.

    Yes, I tried both -- removing the google mini from the "home" setup and factory resetting it ?   I also work with Google support for 2 days and  the last agent I worked with is going to see if they can replace the device.
