Can't Login to admin settings even after factory reset - c6300v2

The c6300v2 is a cable modem/router. It has very little in common with the Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems covered in this section.

If you do start another discussion, you might like to add a bit of detail about how you are trying to access the settings. Wifi? Wired? Browser? App?

Neither router login pages work, nor do direct IP pages.

Admin/password does not work.

Nighthawk app does not work.

Password recovery does not work as it asks me security questions I *never* entered.

Factory resetting modem did nothing. 

I am five seconds from returning this thing unless someone can help me fix it.
