CasaOS Pi Hole docker Configuration on C7000v2 Router Modem

I own a Netgear C7000v2 and connected to it is a Raspberry Pi 4b 8GB PC running CasaOS and Pi Hole as a docker. Here is the configuration problem I am experiencing.

To allow Pi Hole docker to block ads at a network wide level I need it to take over DHCP Server duties. So this requires I disable the DHCP server in the Netgear Genie app (see RED circled text in JPG below).

However, when I disable it and hit "APPLY" the router displays the message below:

"Please change your computer IP address manually if LAN IP subnet will be changed"

When I hit the OK button for the message shown above the result is I lose all internet connection. The only option I have left after this happens is to perform a Factory Reset operation on the router.

My question is, how do I disable the Netgear Genie DHCP Server parameter without losing internet access?   I have performed a total of 5 factory resets on my router. So I hope somebody in this community can help me so I can stop performing Factory Resets on my router. 🙂

My goal is to setup Pi Hole at a local area network so that all devices are automatically protected against unwanted ads and tracking.  Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for your time.
