CAX30 - Disables internet on network name change
Is there a fix for this issue yet? I'm experiencing the same thing.

I have had the CAX30 set up with a custom SSID name for the past 8 months. CAE Network and CAE Network-5G. No problems until yesterday. I don't know what happened yesterday but it stopped working. I performed a factory reset and it works fine with the preset SSID and password. Like the previous post I have multiple smart devices that I do not want to spend the next couple of days resetting. The types of devices that are connected are home security video, Smart TV's, iPhones, laptops, etc. I am on version V1.4.12.2. I was under the understanding that the firmware version is updated by the ISP.

Does it work with Smart Connect enabled?
For the CAX series modems, users can update the router and wifi portion of the modem:
Might update, factory reset and setup from scratch. Please try with smart connect enabled then disabled.
