I know I have to set up 3 services - I named them DVR1, DVR2, DRV3 with settings - DVR1 port 1500 used IP address that is recognized by connection to ethernet port 3 192.168.1.2 - DVR2 port 1501 same ip, DVR3 port 80 same ip. That's all I've been able to do. Not sure how to forward/assign those 'services'. Camera dvr is a ACT-808H, hybrid 8 channel AHD DVR.. I've went from network type DHCP (DHCP selected it recognizes the IP port address where connected to router - the 192.168.1.2) to STATIC. (when static selected it recognizes my static IP.) The light for port 3 on front of router stays 'orange color', not green as connected. ANY one know what steps I may be missing or have in error? Thanks.
Using port forwarding for IP cameras is a really really bad idea. It exposes the cameras and other equipment direct to the internet.
You need to go over to a proper forum for IP cameras and ask for some help.
