CAX30 Cable Modem Cannot save Custom IPv6 DNS settings
Hi all,
I recently bought a CAX30 cable modem/router and wanted to enter custom DNS settings. I can save custom IPv4 DNS settings perfectly fine by itself, however when I go to enter custom DNS settings for IPv6, the device reboots instead of saving the settings. While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads. - ArrixAspirant
For added context, my ISP is Cox cable in Orange County, CA. As a somewhat workaround, I've updated my laptop devices directly to use the above DNS settings, but that doesn't help with other devices like phones, tablets, guest devices, etc. I'd really like to have this configured at the router.
Thanks.
