CAX30 FIRMWARE UPDATE
CAX30 cable modem/router firmware version v1.4.12.2
I'm having intermittent internet problems such as the net drops or wifi not responding.
Working with my provider (Sparklight) but thought I would check for a firmware update.
I see v2.2.1.12 is available yet using the Netgear app for IOS, I'm told my firmware is up to date.
Should I update to the new version or stay the same?

I would upgrade. the newest version from the website has been pretty stable.
the older one had a few issues

Thanks for your suggestion. I did upgrade and will see what happens going forward. It was confusing as when I did a check for an upgrade the reply was no upgrade was available. Again, thanks
