Having the same problem. I can't use NG's recommended solutions because I can't access my network or the modem at all. The factory reset doesn't address the problem - I still can't access my network or modem to setup the new admin, etc.

Did you try the TFTP method?
If that fails please contact the admin mentioned in that link.
