CAX30 issue with Xfinity
On with Xfinity all morning said they are getting dozens of calls on users with this cable modem having connectivity issues...

If its the same issue, Internet Access would be Red, but have a note next to it that says something about the "Traffic Meter" limit was hit and to increase the limit.

A couple things.
1. the cable connections page helps if you have the full upstream/downstream info.
2. the event logs helps show the long term connection info
3. if its the data monitor being maxed, you can disable the traffic monitor.

I just talked to Netgear technical support (after having spent the morning with a Xfinity technician at my house). Net gear released a firmware upgrade overnight that basically messed up the connectivity of the cable modem. Tech Support said that all CAX30 modems with Xfinity are basically unable to connect.
I lost a day of work and Netgear still working to solve the issue,. This is beyond ridiculous and unacceptable. I asked for full refund of my equipment as I had to give up and install a Xfi modem so that I could keep working
Netgear is horrible.
