CAX30 keeps losing wifi but hard wire is working.
Had this router since 04/2023. Had comcast come out and run a new cable into my house and replace all hardware in May 2023. My internet is 1 gig down and 45mb up and I get those speeds when hard wired. My issue is my wifi keeps dropping out for several seconds at least 20 times a hour. I have firmware V1.4.12.2. I go back to a previous version and it will run better but this router will download the newest version within 24 hours.
First question is:
1. Is it possible to stop the router from auto updating the firmware? This is a very crappy ideal for the router to keep doing this and I could not find any setting to turn it off.
2. I see there is a beta firmware ( v2.2.1.8.) that is supposed to be more stable then this version and I would like to try it out before I take this router out in the yard and smash it as it is a piece of junk to me right now.
I am ready to drop netgear and try another brand so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can try that but from what i read they make you go through all the flowcharts to trouble shoot it. I would really like to just receive the firmware and try it out.

Again, something to contact NG support about. Forums do not have access to those resources.
