CAX30 Lan IP
I've updated the firmware to 2.2.2.2 for the new CAX30 first thing, before setup. I've setup router & modems for about 20yrs, but I must be missing something in Advanced>Setup>LAN. I change the LAN...

Wondering if 10.x will work. 172 should have. 🤔

I was shooting for 195.65.X.X. I've used this in the past with other Netgear Routers and it worked fine. I usually use 255.255.255.0 subnet.
I do see that ARMOR is running via my web browser. Is there a way to turn it off?

Disable it thru the Nighthawk App first.
I think there is also a debug page when it can be disabled as well, though I don't remember if it was on the CAX30.
So seems that only 10, 172 or 192 is supported on CAX model gateways. 195 is a C class IP address subnet used by public WAN side systems. Should not be really used on a private LAN side network.

Tried to disable ARMOR on the app, but just get a failure error. Subscription ends 12/04. I assume if I don't renew, it automatically disables.
Is the ARMOR program restricting IP changes, thinking it's an attack or something?
I still can try Factory Reset.

From what I get from NG, the 195 address is not supported on the CAX30. This would be a hard code in FW. So I recommend using one of the 3 subnets I posted...

Tried the 172.x.x.x LAN IP. This wouldn't save and the unit stays at the defaults IP.

I was able to change the LAN IP some. The Network Part of the IP (192.168) had to stay the same, but I can change the host part. That's better than nothing.
