CAX30 MAC Cloning?

Is there any sort of possibility to cloning my modems MAC so that I may be able to change my IP address? I'm currently using Xfinity and asking them over the phone seems to not work since they don't appear to understand what I am requesting. All they do is manually reboot my device and say "whatever you just asked, we did it" even though my IP was the same
