CAX30 Nighthawk packet loss on a consistent time cycle
CAX30 Nighthawk combination modem/router plugged into COAX cable from wall. 1GB/s download package. A7000 Netgear Wifi Dongle plugged into Desktop PC. Every minute or so, on the same time in...

I mean there's no other modems or routers, just the Nighthawk CAX30.
When I go into the interface for controlling the modem, I only see one option, and it is in "router" mode.
It's on Windows 10.

That raises the question as to what delvers the Internet. Those "campus" networks can track back to a router somewhere in the basement. This is not the sort of scenario that these domestic modem/routers are designed for.
Cable modem/routers don't have a "router only" option (no WAN input). They can offer a "modem only" option, for use with a different router, but that's a red herring in this case.
It's on Windows 10.
Windows 10 isn't a lot different from Windows 11 on this front. Did you check the USB settings? And the drivers?

What makes you think I'm on a campus? I'm not. The old modem and router had 0 issues. Upgraded to 1GB/S, bought a newer modem router combo (CAX30) From Nighthawk we're talking about....and now I'm getting packet loss every 30-60 seconds on the same cycle every single time. I upgraded the Firmware and it's solved nothing. Is there a log or something I can check to see what's actually going on?
Or, what the bottle neck is? Is it this A7000 Nighthawk WIFI USB Adapter, or is it the Cax30?

I did not say that you were. Read my reply.
I was just trying to work out how you get the \internet.
The CAX30 is a cable modem/router.
When someone writes that they are "plugged into COAX cable from wall" that could mean many things. It doesn't say "cable internet".
