CAX80 - backup with 5g
Anyone have any suggestions on how to configure a backup mobile device with Nighthawk AX6000 DOCSIS 3.1 WiFi 6 Cable Modem Router (CAX80)? My Comcast provider is unreliable, and I have no other broa...

Yes, that is exactly what I am talking about. I think I found a solution with the new Orbi 5G system. I can hook that to my cable modem, and it will failover to 5G when the cable modem fails. Also supports 2 additional gigabyte lan ports, which I need. I currently use an eero mesh with my CAX80 (the CAX80 is great wifi, but doesn't cover my third floor), so this would replace that component. Pricey though.

So both CAX80 and Orbi don't support cell signal services. 5G or 5Ghz on NG products means a 5Ghz wifi signal. Not the 5G or 5th Generation cell services. Orbi as a LTE cell service product The LBR20 series.

So yes, the NBK and the LBR systems are NGs two cell phone supporting Orbi systems.
The CAX series models are modem gateway wifi systems only. No cell service support.
