After calling my internet provider and NetGear, we still are no closer in figuring out why this expensive paper weight is having issues all of a sudden with downstreaming. We have full connection wit...

Do you have a screen snip of the cable connections page and event logs?
Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
If you can, simply connect the modem right where the coax comes into the home. This prevents wiring in the home from being the issue. And some ISP’s charge if the wiring issue is in the home. So this helps prevent this.

We have replaced all the cables and rest the modem, talked to out service provider, but none of this is correcting the issue. I now have a different modem set up that is working well, that is a lot older and cheaper than my NightHawk modem. I do not have a picture as the modem is now packed back in its box. The internet would show connected, but then when you went to open a webpage it states "Connection issue/no internet" The modem indicates the downstream is the issue. We have even followed all the step NetGear has sent us to try to correct this issue with no improvement.

tough to tell you anything without screen snip of the cable connections page and event logs.
are you able to get the cable connections page and event logs from your current modem?
