CAX80 Modem died

You need to also check the following:
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute them back ON.

After an hour and several resets later, the speed briefly hit 330Mbps and then the modem died 5 minutes later. I called Netgear's tech support in India FIVE TIMES and was placed on hold twice for over 30 minutes and then disconnected both times. Their people know nothing about routers and were simply reading a cue card and routing calls that get disconnected. I'm incredibly frustrated about this whole ordeal and will never purchase another Netgear piece of trash again.
