CAX80 restart loop bad update?

Was a bad update pushed? I'm seeing a lot of people report the same symptoms as my router... luckily I'm still in warranty but when I receive the new one I want to avoid this.

I did not initialize any firmware updates before symptoms appeared.

I noticed my internet dropped 3 days ago at 1030 am. Attributed it to ISP doing work.

All 4 lights ( power, up stream, down stream and the globe ) would light up and stay steady, then suddenly reboot and flash all lights continuously.
