CAX80 standalone router
I’ve just built a new home and am being forced to move on from Comcast cable internet to Frontier DSL internet. Due to this, I have to use a Frontier modem to access their services.
Is there any way to use the CAX80 as a standalone router to take advantage of WiFi6 and the other great features? There isn’t a dedicated WAN port, but I know that often times you can use standard Ethernet port 1 to utilize this function. Just curious if anyone has any experience with this so I don’t have to buy a new router.

Not that I know of. The older versions you could force it into an access point mode but my understanding of this device is it goes into a boot loop when it doesn't connect on its own internal modem.
