CAX80 with a gigabit switch
I just purchased the CAX80 and a Tenda TEG1016M 16 port gigabit switch and when I have a wired item in the switch sometimes the devices can't connect.

Do you have the switch connected to the 1Gb or MultiGb port? 1Gb port would be recommended.
What CAT# cables are you using? CAT6 is recommended.
Try a different brand switch. NG GS-105/108v4 and GS308v3, D-Link DGS-105/108 and HP ProCurve 1400/1800 series switches.
HP switches are connected behind my CAX80 when in router mode. I have tested NG GS series and they work as well.

Can't connect to wifi?
Can't hardwire into the router?
Can't connect to the switch?
When it happens, is it all devices on the switch, just a few?
what actually happens? Again, details are key and your description left a lot to be desired. We're not there to see whats going on so you have to help us to help you.
And it looks like that switch has led link lights on it. Do they show the router connecting to it and the devices when there's issues?

Can't connect to wifi? This part works
Can't hardwire into the router? Always seem to work
Can't connect to the switch? This is the random part, I had two 5 port switches before that did the same thing. Both the old and new switches are dumb switches.
When it happens, is it all devices on the switch, just a few? Random, not always the same devices.
what actually happens? The device says it is connected, but no internet
Again, details are key and your description left a lot to be desired. Sorry about that.

Do they show the router connecting to it and the devices when there's issues? The port is lit when a device is connected. I also moved cables around and have replaced cables.
