What mesh extender did you get? AX3000 is a speed, not a model. And you put router and satellites so it makes me curious if you're trying to attach a full mesh system like orbi to it or a simple extender.
If its simply an extender, you could always try using wps.
Or using the installation assistant.
I'd factory reset the extender and set it up using the installation assistant.
To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
